meet the tutors
Rose Allinson,
B.A.Hons., PGCE, MA.
Rose is joint proprietor and has a with a wealth of knowledge and experience across the whole media spectrum. She is a highly qualified and experienced tutor and runs our classes in Drawing and Painting. She gained her BA and MA from Birmingham's famous School of Jewellery, and worked there for a number of years, as well as in many of our local schools and colleges.
Claire Botterill,
B.A. Hons.
Claire is a dedicated tutor, full of enthusiasm for developing student’s skills, knowledge and confidence whilst having fun in a relaxed atmosphere. She is a graduate of De Montfort University, where she studied ceramics. Claire is is an award winning painter who exhibits widely.
Netty Reddish
M.A.
Passionate and Creative Woodworker and Jewellery Designer, Derbyshire based Netty has been a fully qualified and practicing teacher since 1999 doing custom woodwork, jewellery making, design, engraving, and wild making. She earned a Masters Degree in Metalwork and Jewellery. Her enthusiasm and passion for woodwork, jewellery making, and outdoor wild making are contagious. You will leave her workshop not only with an item you have made but a desire to continue your own creative journey.
Kate Nutall
SBA, SBA Dip Dist
Kate is passionate about botanical art, achieving a Distinction in the Distance Learning Diploma Course run by the Society of Botanical Artists. She was made a full member of the Society in 2008 and has been teaching since then. She loves passing on skills to her classes and watching them improve as much as she enjoys painting herself. She exhibits annually at the Society of Botanical Artists' Open Exhibition in London.
Kirsty Whitrow
B.A.Hons
Kirsty is a fine art graduate from Leicester and specialises in large scale school and hospital projects, as well as running classes and workshops in mosaics and mixed media throughout Leicestershire. We are delighted to add her to our team of tutors.
Jean Savage
Jean is a Leicestershire weaver who has a whole range of experience in weaving - small domestic size weaving projects to much larger sculptural forms.
Rosie Johnson

Four years ago Rosie had her first child Ramona and began her 2 dreams side by side. Being a stay at home mum and starting her own business!
Rosie is a sign writer, illustrator, maker and all round crafter who also specialises in teaching the art of Modern Calligraphy. With her self taught, unique style her belief is that decorative writing can be harnessed by anyone and used for at least 100 purposes! Something she proves everyday with the endless things she has a go at making.

Debra Quinn B.A. Hons, PGCE
Debra is an experienced teacher of Art and creativity workshops. She loves to
teach and share her knowledge and experience of the creative techniques with others.
A degree in Printed Textile and Surface Pattern Design from Brunel University, she became a freelance Textile designer before deciding to embark on teaching.
Although a trained Textile Designer she has experience in Print Making, Painting and Drawing, Mixed Media and Photography. She has a love for nature, colour and pattern in her work.
